Religious Education (CCD) / Sacramental Preparation
Deacon Paul Gregory is the Parish Catechetical Lead (PCL) for Religious Education and the contact for sacramental preparation including: Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.

Center for Catholic Studies
Our Lady of Good Counsel is home to the Center for Catholic Studies, a collaborative education initiative of the Diocese of Lake Charles, McNeese State University, and Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Through an articulation agreement between McNeese and Holy Cross, theology courses offered at the Center can be taken for elective credit toward a McNeese degree program.

Baptism
Baptism preparation classes are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 12 to 1:00
PM in the upstairs conference room. Parents are required to be registered in the parish and
to attend Baptism preparation classes before the sacrament can be conferred. Contact the
